Welcoming. Transforming. Serving.

We want these three words to define the life of our church. This includes our gatherings outside the Sunday morning worship service. At Bayshore, we have may opportunities to engage in times of learning, reflection, or sharing. These are places we hope provide deeper connection to each other and supportive community. Places where we find opportunities to learn more about ourselves, our faith, and our place in the world. Places where we can be challenged and develop the tools to love and serve others in ever expanding ways. Scroll down to see these various offerings and consider joining us as we are formed together into a loving community.

Sunday Morning Classes

On Sunday mornings at 9:30, we have a variety of classes who gather to engage more deeply in matters of faith. This may be working through a Bible study curriculum, exploring a particular topic related to our shared life together, or gathering in a supportive environment around our shared experiences. Different classes have different feels. If you are visiting, we have greeters during the 9:30 hour who can help you find the right fit.

Wednesday Evening Small Groups

On Wednesday evenings at 6:30, we offer gathering spirtual formation opportunities for all ages from elementary children through adult.

For adults, we offer a book study. That group is currently working through Jimmy Carter’s book A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence, and Power. This book aims to address on a serious, ongoing problem in our world: discrimination and violence against women.

You can also find the Women’s Wellspring group. Women’s Wellspring community of women that will discuss any topic, sip tea, offer sympathy, and share praises and concerns. Each week they explore the ways that Biblical principles provide guidance and support for life.

Wednesday Evening Choir

Wednesday evenings at 7:30 our choir meets for practice. Choir is a great opportunity for building relationships – plus, you’ll have the opportunity to offer the gift of music during our Sunday morning worship service. We are always excited for new choir members. If the idea of singing together with others strikes a chord with you, then join us at 7:30 or email our Music Director, Julie, for more information.
