Julie Webb
Music Director
Julie has spent much of her life deeply connected to the music ministry and community at Bayshore Baptist Church, where her family has been a cornerstone of the congregation since 1960. Growing up within the church’s vibrant music department, she developed a lifelong passion for music and service to others.
Her family’s long history with the church includes her father and grandfather, both of whom served as active deacons, and her grandmother, who dedicated 25 years of service as the church secretary. Julie began her journey at Bayshore with her early education at Bayshore Preschool, laying the foundation for both her faith and professional life.
After attending Plant High School, where she was involved in the chorus program, Julie continued to pursue her love of music by attending Hillsborough Community College (HCC). She later transferred to Palm Beach Atlantic College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music, further solidifying her commitment to music education and ministry.
Julie spent 24 years in South Florida, where she began her career in teaching. Her work in music education included leading choruses and helping to foster a love of music among students, with a focus on both academic and personal growth. With 27 years of experience, she has become a highly respected music educator.
She now serves as the Music Director at Bayshore Baptist Church, overseeing the church’s musical programs and enriching worship through song. In addition to her role as Music Director, Julie is also a Deacon at Bayshore Baptist Church, continuing her family’s tradition of leadership and service. Her involvement in the church is a natural extension of her lifelong commitment to faith, music, and community.
Through her work in music and ministry, Julie remains dedicated to nurturing the next generation and maintaining the strong, loving environment her family helped to build at Bayshore Baptist Church.

Victer Chesmore
Pastoral Assistant
Victer is a native Floridian from the greater Orlando area who moved to Tampa in 2012 to attend college. There, Victer discovered his passion for both ministry and healthcare, and began pursuing an interest in hospital chaplaincy. As Victer continued in chaplaincy, he began seeking ordination. This process took Victer out of the Southern Baptist faith tradition he was raised in and introduced him to the Cooperative Baptist fellowship. Victer joined Bayshore virtually during the pandemic and transferred his membership officially in February 2021. Outside of Church work, Victer is a full-time chaplain at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Victer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Communication and End of Life studies from the University of South Florida, a Master of Arts in Ministerial Leadership from Southeastern University and is completing a Master of Divinity from Central Baptist Theological Seminary. Victer is a member of the Association of Welcoming and Affirming Baptists, The Association of Professional Chaplains, and the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
