Just looking at this picture warms my heart. Tucked in the heart of Armstrong valley in Halifax, PA in between the rolling green hills of central Pennsylvania, Fetterhoff’s Church is where I worshipped as a child and young adult. My mind is filled with memories of Easter egg hunts in the grass spotted with dandelions, playing hide and go seek in the cemetery (please forgive me), sitting quietly beside Grandma Jane and Grandpa Jim and then being reward with half of a stick of Wrigley’s double mint gum, singing in the choir, Sunday potlucks, potpie suppers and sauerkraut dinners, and church council meetings later in life. Thank you mom and dad for being godly parents and for making sure I was grounded in my faith in Christ.
