Giving Tuesday: Preserving Our Sacred Space
Our building is important to us. And rightly so. It provides us with a space to gather in worship, fellowship, and mutual support. It houses several community-led efforts to bring comfort and care to our neighbors and allows us to support many others. Our building has been a tangible site of God’s love and connection. Your generosity on Giving Tuesday will help us fund essential repairs and ensure that our church remains a place of worship, fellowship and love of neighbor for generations to come.
Accomplishing Our Goals Together
Your Giving Tuesday generosity will support the following desperately needed repairs:
- Replacement of two sanctuary AC systems
- Replacement or repair of three AC units which will allow currently unused ShoreKids classrooms to be utilized again and bring other rooms and areas of the building back to consistent air conditioning
- Replacement of the sanctuary gutter system which will prevent potential roof leaks
- Repair to the steeple damage that occurred during Hurricane Milton
Some of these issues have been ongoing, and we are grateful to finally bring our sacred space to proper functioning and safety. The cost of these urgent needs will be roughly $185,000. Our shared giving can help us to reach this shared goal!
Voices of Our Community
Robert Koehler
“Bayshore is place where community thrives. From our beautiful sanctuary, to the Loft where youth connect and grow, every part of our building serves our mission.”
Rachel Lee
“We are proud to contribute to the upkeep of Bayshore, ensuring that it continues to serve as a place of worship and community. Our donation is not only a way to honor the legacy of past members, but also to preserve this special place for future generations.”
Janet Salyers
“We have been the beneficiaries of the vision, love and sacrifice of so many of our members who have gone before us. This building is a labor of love and vision that all who enter would build their own ‘foundation on Jesus Christ Himself being the cornerstone.’ Every inheritance requires stewardship. May our own vision for the future of this sacred space help us to be generous givers.”
