Worship

  • This Sunday we will turn to Jesus’ parable of the persistent friend at midnight and consider the importance of tirelessly sharing our desires, sorrows, and questions with God in prayer.

Missions

  • The Big Blue Barrels are here from Metropolitan Ministries.  We are collecting food through November 20 for their Thanksgiving food distribution.
  • 1st Nesters needs volunteers for a nesting this Sunday afternoon. We’ll meet at the church at 2 pm and the move should not take too long. Please email Gloria Scarle at tampatriad@aol.com for more details and/or to sign up.
  • Our next Blessed By Bayshore is serving in the Met Ministries Thanksgiving food distribution tent on Saturday afternoon, November 23 from 3:30-6:15pm at 2609 N Rome Ave, Tampa, FL 33607. Here is the link to register for this volunteer opportunity:

Wednesday Nights

  • Our community Thanksgiving dinner is tonight at 5:15 PM! Bring a dessert or side dish to share, and we’ll provide the meat. The children’s family experience begins at 6:30, and programs and classes for children, youth, and adults begin at 6:30. Choir at 7:30 PM.

Children and Youth

  • Shoe boxes are available in the lobby for the Operation Christmas Child ministry.  Filled boxes will be collected the week of November 18 – 25.

Other News

  • If you’ve ever had the desire to participate in worship, here’s your chance.  Join us for a Liturgist training session this Sunday, Nov. 10 at 11:45 AM in the sanctuary.  Flyers can be found at the welcome desk.  Questions?  Contact a staff member.
  • The Bayshore Collective CDs are available in the coffee shop or in the main lobby.  Donations are welcome.  It’s also available wherever you stream music!
  • Junk in the Trunk is coming November 16, 8 AM – 12 Noon.  Sign up for a spot, still only $10.  Spaces are limited to 40 people.
  • All are welcome to join Tai Chi classes offered every Monday and Thursday at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall
