Grace and Peace Be Yours
The Bible has given us all the knowledge we need in order to live an abundant life on this earth.
One of the most powerful aptitudes God gives us is the ability to escape the evil desires that are presented to us daily. Those evil desires come in many forms, such as the addiction to material things. The constant desire for worldly material items keeps us from experiencing peace in our lives. Giving, instead of buying, is a way to show others the grace that God has given us as Christians. There is no more powerful gesture than to share with others the blessings that God has so graciously bestowed upon us.
Today ponder giving up a worldly material desire in order to experience peace in your life, and in turn, share God’s grace with someone in need. This is especially true in this season of Advent as we prepare our hearts to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord.
