Gen. 12:1-4a; Ps. 121; Jn. 3:1-17

My spiritual journey started as a young girl at an old-time revival meeting in my country church in West Virginia many years ago.  The church and the show house (which is now called a movie theater) were side by side.  We only had movies two evenings a week, Saturday and Sunday.  My girlfriend Alice and I had the job of dusting the seats so that we could get in for free.

One Saturday night while we were dusting the seats and sweeping the floor, we could not decide if we should “back slide” and go to the movies or go to church. Back then if you went to the movies, danced, or drank alcohol you were considered a “back slider” and would have to be saved again.

To this day I cannot remember what we decided to do, but I do know for sure that Jesus has forgiven me of all my many sins.  My journey has had many ups and downs over the years, but God has always been my “Rock to lean on.”

SAVED BY HIS WONDERFUL GRACE!

ALWAYS BEEN MY GUIDE!

VICTORY IN HIS BLOOD!

EVERLASTING LOVE!

DIED AND ROSE AGAIN FOR MY SINS!
