Bayshore has a host of small groups and Bible study groups open to adults of all ages. You’ll find groups that meet on Sunday mornings between worship services and others that meet throughout the week. By committing to a group, you’ll more easily connect with people like yourself and engage in the church more quickly.
Sunday mornings at 10 am we offer Bible studies of various kinds for groups of all ages. Currently, we have a dozen classes for adults ranging from a class for those with young families to one taught by a religious studies professor from USF and everything in between.
On Wednesdays, we share a family dinner and have several options for further study or ministry involvement. Recently, we have offered a spiritual wellness seminar, an opportunity to create art to be used in our First Nesters ministry which provides furnished apartments for young adults in need and a seminar on archeological digs in the Holy land.
Retired Baptist minister Reverend Bill Scarle teaches a Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 as well as on Friday mornings at 11:00 am at a local assisted living facility.
Thursday mornings at 9:00 we have periodic intergenerational women’s studies focus on helping women get closer to Jesus, grow in biblical knowledge and get connected with one another. Contact Tammy Snyder for upcoming studies.
Senior Adult Ministry
We have a very active senior adult population that bring meals to the ill or homebound, volunteer in our church office and, once a month, have a fun filled fellowship called Young at Heart. We also have a lively group of sassy senior women meet weekly to study God’s word. Contact Barb Tolbert for information about the Sassy Seniors current study.
