Alex began his tenure as Bayshore’s 11th pastor on Easter 2016. He is originally from Atlanta where we studied religion at Georgia State University before continuing his education at The Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Alex is passionate about providing creative pastoral leadership through the ministries of preaching, spiritual formation, and relational ministry. Alex believes that faith is a journey and loves discovering new ways to breathe life into ancient expressions of church.
Alex and his wife, Allison, live in South Tampa with their son, Abram. He enjoys reading, playing for Bayshore’s softball team, and good conversation at local establishments.
